The scene opens on June 6. 

There is to be an orgy to try and pull Achyuta out of whatever temporal wedgie he's given himself. Tamara joins the orgy portion, the rest of the group is in the non-orgy portion. After the ritual starts, the group suddenly finds themselves in the Hall of Mirrors in Versaille in Spring 1667. Tamara is naked and is loaned a coat by Astrid. 

Frankie shapes clothes for himself, the rest sneak around to get clothes. Tamara finds Achyuta's mind, but when she contacts him he believes he's Louis XIV. 

After some deliberation, they decide to seek out a local mage. They can detect one in the palace and head that way. They head in that direction, and discover the mage appears to be in the chapel. In the chapel they meet a monk named Brother Martine. 

They explain their situation, and he says there are not really other mages in the city because of a splinter group in the church known unofficially as the Anti-Witch League. He can refer them to a member of that faction named La Boisin.

Since it's the middle of the night, the group claims an abandoned room they take a nap in until dawn. 

At Dawn, they nab breakfast and head to La Boison's shop, where it advertises fortune telling and apothecary. They go into the shop, where Frankie demands to have his fortune told. The rest scan some magic shit. The stooped old woman comes out and does not have a Mind or Life presence. Astrid's Entropy suggests that they want to leave. 

When they hurry out of the shop, the door turns into a wall. There's a Victorian looking woman who books it when they see her. They chase her down and discover she's a Future Cop. She is there to make sure Achyuta doesn't leave, because he's the only one in Seattle who remembers what happens regarding Tamara's future.

Future Cop says that Achyuta can go back if he has his memory removed. Or they will let Achyuta go if Tamra goes back to 2020. Otherwise if she's in Seattle in 2000, she will cause the destruction of most of the Pacific Northwest. 

The group goes back to the palace, and Tamara looks into the future and sees that there is a magic eating virus that will destroy all magic, Tamara is convinced by Achyuta that she is the only one who can stop it. The virus comes from the world where they send the Lady of the Woods to keep her from eating the Earth. 

They call La Boison, whose name is "Marie" and totally not Mary Poppins. Tamara explains the origin of the virus and says that just removing her will lead to other catastrophes happening. Marie says she'll speak to her supervisors and is willing to send them back. 

Tamara explains everything to Achyuta and Jada just so someone besides her little group knows and is working on a solution.
